So in my opinion, if you post every day or at least five times a week, people will hopefully remember you or your business when they are looking for a product or service. Your account will be in the front of their minds when their friend is looking for something.
Something to remember if you honestly only posted once a week, there is a really big chance they will miss the post and never see it and then can you imagine a one a month post may never get seen. On the flip side there is a change that your audience will get a bit fatigued with you feed, so make sure you vary the content, try picture, videos, meme in your niche and a few posts about your servers. Make sure you change these, so they do not become stale and boring.
In the last month I’ve heard about a traditional real ale (beer) brewery, that has been in business for over 20 years is closing at the end of his year. Much has changed over the last 20 or more years while this brewery has been in operation, in recent years many other traditional breweries have closed, and many other new craft beer breweries have arrived on the scene. Covid19 did not help with the hospitality industry being on its knees for long periods of time and not with the energy crises making the cost to manufacture cost much more than less than a year ago. There has also been a huge change in beer worldwide with the very popular ‘Craft Beer’ scene which did not exist 20 years ago and therefore may more breweries to compete with that may have bigger marketing budgets etc. Looking at the Facebook page of this brewery, it did not seem like it was too much of a priority as often there was only one post a month. I am not saying this would have saved this company, but a more active social media platform may have helped to let more people discover the brand and continue to support the brand.
The world has changed so much in the last 20 years, to think that Facebook, Twitter, Ingram and YouTube where not around yet seems bizarre. But now that we have all these platforms for creating content on and that a few people may see. No days you can take a photo or a video on your mobile, crop it if you want and post it directly to all these platforms.
So you summarize in my opinion it is better to post everyday as your posts are more likely to been seen and by creating different posts at different times appeal to different people. If you have any question, please reach out to us in the contact us section. Thank you.
Why should you post to Social Media every day?
